Tidepools Journal is an annual collaboration between students and faculty in the Letters Department and Media Arts & Technologies Program. Our interdisciplinary publication strives to showcase the artistic and literary expressions of diverse voices from MiraCosta College and the communities it serves. In support of MiraCosta's commitment to equity, Tidepools aims to empower historically marginalized perspectives through representation and publication. Tidepools publishes original art, comics, poetry, fiction, and essays exclusively from MiraCosta College students, staff, and factulty, and awards cash prizes to students in each category. You may submit a maximum of 3 entries in each of the categories below.
